Ever since Republic took over service is garbage. Often they miss my cans entirely or they come a different day. Today they did a half dump on both my recycle can and my neighbors and this happens to about 10% of my cans. They are totally incompetent. It's at the point where it makes more sense to cancel service and just take a dump run every 2 weeks.
Republic Waste Services is rather disappointing. Stockton, CA contracting their services is even worse. I smell a rat, literally. Behind the scenes deals at City Hall? Their "bulk pickup", which means furnitures, appliances, etc only takes 100 lbs total, meaning, if you have more than one appliance or piece of furniture, they won't take it. I'm not kidding. 100 lb total!!! No wonder Stockton has trash all over the streets. We deserve better service in order to keep Stockton beautiful. A mean driver named George who drives 2486 yells at a YouTuber calls the police on him skips the cans leaves a mess and drives away without doing his route and tried to run him over this is very bad this guy needs to be fired
Non responsive. Lied about xmas tree pickup since January 2nd.City needs to sever its contract. Today, January 15th, I received a reply from Reublic Services with an "apology " asking me to send them information by email to resolve my concern. If they wanted to resolve the issue that I've called about four times since January 2nd (and received promises of pick up by their representatives each time) it would appear to just send someone to pick up the damn tree would remove the issue. This company is greedy, lazy, and a bunch of liars. Here’s what they do: they increase the price every year pressuring you to pay more and more money each bill. They’ll also take your previous bins and say “whoops that’s the wrong bin, we meant to charge you extra for that. Take this smaller one instead at the same price you’re already paying”. That’s not even all of it. I absolutely hate this company.
