This review is on behalf of my parents small family owned business. Republic Services breached our contract in April and failed to comply with the terms we agreed to in our service agreement. It took almost four months, an escalation to the Texas Attorney General, and a lawsuit for them to finally agree to end our contract early and repay us for the overcharges we were unjustly charged. Lazy employees who’s sit in a truck all day twiddling a joystick.
CUSTOMER BEWARE: Republic has explained to me that they determine overage charges based on the findings of a machine-learning component integrated with their trucks' dashcams. Essentially, no one checks whether the charges are just, based on the photos referenced from the cameras. Their dash cams just snap photos of what their AI are programmed to perceive as 'overages' and then the charges are automatically applied to your next bill.
