Garbage is one of those services people only review when they're angry. But Republic has been fantastic. I just got an alert that recycling service will be delayed today - by a mere four hours. Signed up for garbage and recycling pick up, on the day it was supposed to start and I was supposed to get delivered trash cans, they never came. Called the next day and they told me that I cancelled the order and they will start it again. Next week they again never showed up and told me it was because there are no garbage cans in our area but will pick up next week without it. These guys put the “Trash” in Trash Pickup Service. Customer service is terrible. Multiple phone calls and my issues still isn’t resolved. Luckily a new competitor came to the area and I was able to switch. Look up Evergreen and save yourself the hassle of dealing with Republic.
They were good when they started, but are just awful now. I cancelled service after they broke one can and spilled the other without cleaning. They are supposed to pick up the cans after cancellation, but have missed 4 pickups so far and are trying to charge me for the missing cans. Stay far away from them.
