I love Republic schools. However, with an email I received from you all, as I'm sure did other parents, regarding if the heat index is to get to 95 or higher, students would not be going outside. Now my question is, why in the world are there kids outside with a heat index of 99 and there being a heat advisory?! It is not even my child outside right now and I am highly irritated. This heat today is dangerous as you all should know!
I don't know who schedules the stuff around there but they really don't seem to be using their brain much! Scheduling the times for students to pick up their schedule and get their pictures taken from 8:30 to 10 in the morning so that all of us parents have to take time off work to take our kids up there is ridiculous!
We feel very fortunate to live in Republic in part because of the schools.
