So far so good. They've treated us well and I haven't encountered the nonsense experienced (withdrawal limits, wire limits, etc) with other banks. When I call the Republic bank a person answers and not an AI BOT or voice maze trap system. Keep doing this, Republic: human interaction NOT automation.
Good to have a branch with people who know me by my first name on site.
Not a good experience. I went to the Fortress branch to open an account. The manager didn't know much about their checking accounts. So I left & applied online. I received my debit card quickly. I activated it and 3 days later I tried to use the card and it was declined. I called and found out my account is closed. They said I requested to close it. No, I didn't!! I already set up SS to direct deposit to the account and now I have to redirect to another bank. So frustrating.
