I went to get my Stihl FS 38 trimmer repaired because it wouldn't start. The man didn't even try to start it or look at the spark plug. He just smelled the gas tank (old gas mix from the fall) and told me the carburetor was dead, the unit was out of service, hadn't worked in two or three years (I was still using it last September), and that I should buy a new one.
