The rental property at Scottsdale Springs, leased to my roommate and me by Heidi Black, has been plagued by a persistent pest infestation, specifically roof rats within the walls, which were not disclosed prior to our lease signing. There is clear evidence suggesting that Mrs. Black was aware of this issue prior to our tenancy. Terrible property management. Property manager had poor communication and wouldn't ever fix any issues we had ,just would put a bandaid on it. To top it off when we attended our scheduled final walk through he didn't even bother to show up- we were 24 years old at the time and the man was well into his 50's yet had no professionalism or communication skills compared to us. Do not use.
Definitely not a “renter’s choice”. Heidi Black and Paul Ruston leased out a condo in Scottsdale Springs to my roommate and I. It has roof rats running all through the walls, and never disclosed before the signing. They have not done anything besides have pest control set up two traps in our ceiling that don’t work. I wake up from the noises it’s so scary. I’ve shut my vent just so I know they’re not staring at me when they scratch there. They won’t let us cut our lease short, or lower the rental price.
