I've been a customer of rent a center for years and have been coming to this store since about 2020. I've been a perfect customer. Bought and paid off at least 7 things from them. The new store manager is terrible. I strongly think they need to be replaced. No customer service skills and seems to be on a high horse. If I could give 0 stars I would
Not worth it. Aside from prices being more than double what the items sell for new, their policies change every time you talk to them AND they called another customer ghetto right in front of me lol. I had setup and signed an entire agreement for a tablet and was given a deal online for $.01 for the first week. They then told me I actually owed a $60 deposit because the deal was placed at a different location. They’re money hungry. If you can’t pay your payments right on time expect a million calls and a fee. They add a fee after you miss a payment. They aren’t professional either. My husband hasn’t been working due to not many jobs right now. I let them know that we can’t make a payment until second week of March and all Liz said is we can’t do that.
