Great doctor and his assistant to work with
The worst bedside manner of a doctor that I have ever run across. He is in his 70's, wears overalls with a flannel shirt. He complained about how he is barely making it by financially speaking. He talks down about every single doctor or PA, PRN that I have ever seen.
Office staff is terrible... in the middle of a pandemic why would you have an existing patient sit in the waiting room and complete all the same paperwork you complete as a new patient. All while several of the others waiting didn’t even have mask on. Totally irresponsible for a Doctors office .... I think it’s time to find a new doctor
Needed to get a rabies post exposure vaccine. Had to get two booster doses on different visits. I was told each visit would just be a $45 copay. I paid $90. Thought I was done paying until today when I received a bill of $758. I will be working with my insurance company to drop this bill because I was lied to by this office. Needless to say, they will not be getting this $758 from me.
I went to the doctor to see if they could help me and was surprised when told at the end it would require out of my pocket $17,500 to the first injection of four, and that although Medicare covers the cost, I would have to get my money back from Medicare. I completely rejected the whole arrangement and made that clear to the bookkeeper, who said they were going to need to order the injection and that it could take several days anyway.
