This review is not about the women's program as a whole, but specifically about my experience with provider Rebecca Chavez. If you are scheduled with her, I recommend requesting a different provider. In my experience, I felt that her approach was driven more by liability concerns than by individualized, patient-centered care. I saw her twice during my pregnancy. The midwives were great, but had a obstetrician there and she was incredibly unpleasant and disrespectful.
I see, Dr. Norris, she is an amazing woman. There and her colleague, Dr. Kendall also another amazing lady big took the time, make sure I understand what was going on when I got freaked out over my daughter, I was having a very difficult time becoming pregnant for the longest time and with my health conditions. If I had gone to a veterinarian I would had gotten better care! I had terrible diabetes came on about 4 months in. I had to go keto for the rest of the pregnancy, walked 30 minutes every single day the issue was off the charts. They refused to offer any sort of assistance regarding the gestational diabetes. Never monitored my thyroid condition and made any adjustments on that. Spoke to me condescending and the delivery process at Renown was just as crappy. This place is great. They billed us every time so the price was great. The providers are good too. Try to schedule far out in advance especially in the last few months.
