For three consecutive days, we sought emergency treatment for my partner’s life-threatening blood pressure while she was actively going through a miscarriage following an IVF cycle. On the third day, Dr. Pakravan attempted to discharge her while her blood pressure was a staggering 178/97 and her resting heart rate was 130 bpm. When you have an emergency, for large hospitals you don’t have many to choose from, Renown is a good choice if you think you will be admitted the smaller urgent care facilities would transport you to the hospital if you need to be admitted. Just for a heads up the Renown Emergency is always extremely busy and has an abundance of homeless people trying to get help. To be seen it will be a minimum of four hours to be honest more like six hours plus. Bring a book or a friend.
