Maria, or Lulu as she’s affectionately known, is a dreadful front desk lady. She’s utterly lacking in customer service, knowledge, and basic manners. Instead of greeting you warmly, she rudely yells at you to sign in and then makes you wait for an excruciating 40 minutes while she engages in idle conversations with other patients. When you politely bring her poor service to her attention, she dismissively assumes that you don’t have an appointment and attempts to skip you altogether. It was an utterly dreadful experience.
The front desk lady, Maria, or Lulu as she’s known, is a terrible person. She lacks customer service, knowledge, and basic manners. My insurance only partially covers a visit to this lab because Renown Labs are considered out patient HOSPITAL facilities - so this is treated as an outpatient visit as far as insurance is concerned. I asked them if my insurance covered this treatment and the staff said that yes, it was covered. Well, it is NOT covered and I am now on the hook for many hundreds of dollars for my lab work done here. Never had a long wait with an appt (and sometimes without). The techs here are great! At other labs, I often get poked multiple times before finding a vein. I've had consistently great experiences at the McCabe lab - just one poke and barely felt the needle! Much appreciated.
Pleasant and efficient. Always a good experience.
