I arrived here before opening time of 6AM, and opening time came and went only to find a small printed note on the door stating that the office was closed. There was no indication at all on Renown’s own website stating any closures. As if that’s not frustrating enough, I went to another location only to find an unreasonable wait time. I was told the reason was they are short of staff. I get it, but It would be nice if Renown was more transparent so I can arrange my lab work accordingly. Sat in the office for an hour before even being called up to register. I see multiple people in the back just wandering around, eating, and talking. There is only 1 guy at the front and a full waiting room. This is ridiculous.
This is the slowest facility. I’ve tried twice to get blood work here first thing in the morning and have had to leave as they take forever. It’s unfortunate that with other poor reviews they do not make changes to personal and how they manage their clientele better.
I had a fairly negative interaction with the desk that reconfirmed my opinion of the medical system. I went in for a simple blood panel for which I was paying cash. I look at this as paying for a service, not as an agreement to participate in the medical system. I was ordered by the front desk staff repeatedly to "SIGN IT." without being given a full description of what I was signing. Why does this location open at 6 am if there are no phlebotomists there at 6am, when they open, to assist patients? I waited a half an hour at 6am hoping to get blood work done before work. The receptionist who actually was helpful called a supervisor and all they told her was to call back in 10 minutes. Garbage visit. I hope this place doesnt represent all renown clinics.
