If I can give more than 5 stars I would! We went in to children's ER on 07/23 because my 18 month old broke his arm, when we first got there the lady who checked us in super polite and the nurse who did my sons vitals was so gentle with my boy, getting us to the back room super fast. The nurses and doctors were amazing, to pre-op and post-op everyone just made this stressful day a bit less. THANK YOU so much for all that you guys do! My son is recovering and gets his cast off next week!
Last night I had to bring my son to the ER for stomach pain and vomiting. The lady who taken his blood and inserted his IV was awesome she made my son a fort so he wouldn't see the needle and my son who cries every time a needle is inserted did not with her she was gentle and spoke to him of the process and she really put him at ease. Also doctor Fischer was kind and explained what was going on and taken all measures to see where the pain was coming from. Also explained to me his bloodwork results. On August 17th 2024 We had to bring our 7 year old Autistic son here for his Tonsils being swollen really bad. We arrived at maybe around 2 until 8pm that night, but we spent that time in a room instead of the waiting room because they got him on back with maybe a 15min waiting room time. . t Doctor Greg Paloolian and nurses was great! ( I wish I new all their names). For the first time I had a horrible experience in the children’s emergency. Physician/doctor Amy bliss was rude and had an attitude with my babies, she didn’t want to be touched and pushed my sons hands away, she didn’t want them talking over her, and she didn’t want their tablets on.Keep in mind my children’s ages are 3yr, 2yr and 9 months. It was the most uncomfortable time being there
Amazing experience starting with the check in specialist to the triage nurse and ER nurse to seeing the doctor. We were reassured and my son was evaluated thoroughly. We spent about an hour in total and were brought right back after they assessed his injury. This is our second time visiting over the last 5 years and both times have been positive experiences. It’s the only ER I will take my children to.
