I have been taking my uncle to Dr Desai about 15 years ago. He has since passed but now the rest of us go to him. Dr Desai is the best human around. Also the best heart Doctor! We are so blessed to have him in our town! He cares about each patient and Is just a kind nice man! Listening to him talk about how he made the halls of this new building wide so customers can all have space to walk the slow walkers with maybe walkers and the fast walkers all have room to walk together without get in each others way. Where do I start? I was having problems breathing. I was referred to Dr. Desai to be checked for Aortic Valve failure and was immediately impressed by how thorough he was in explaining my problem. I did several tests and he immediately put me in the hospital for Aortic valve replacement. I was terrified, and he immediately helped me through it. I wanted to share my experienced visiting the Reno heart institute for Dr. Thomas Nylk. During my appointment, Dr. Nylk ordered a heart monitor and an Ecko for me, but he did not mention the need for a stress test. It was only when his staff called to schedule the stress test that I learned my treatment plan had been changed after I left the appointment.
