The doctors are great, but their billing service is the worst. Had an ER visit over four months ago. Just recently received a notice from a collection agency -- no prior bill or invoice was sent to me. Contacted my Medicare Advantage plan and learned that REP never even submitted a claim to them -- too lazy to get my insurance information from the hospital. Busy signal. No website. Received no mail, but did get sent to collections. The only way I knew was a notification from a credit monitoring service. Top notch.
Really rude. Separate billing from hospital. Way over priced for a random “doctor “ to look at your results and they have no correlation to the hospital apparently. Definitely not worth the visit. Same visit elsewhere was $40 total including pills.
Last month I received a collections letter for an amount over $2000.00 from Reno Emergency Physicians for a date over two years ago. When I checked my location for those dates in photos on my phone, I was 1700 miles away in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. How does this happen? I've not been to Reno in many years, and I have certainly never received emergency care there. I have my own medical insurance and know how to utilize it to cover out of service area treatment. Of course I'll be working to resolve this weirdness.
I explained to this company multiple times that I am a veteran and that all my bills are supposed to be paid by the VA and they said they would take care of it. Them taking care of it was sending it to collections. Thanks for the terrible service to your countries veterans. AT ALL COSTS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
