I arrived at 4:20pm (10 mimutes before close) and they would NOT let me pay for my new vehicle car tag because they said it would take too long. There was no line, not even 1 customer waiting in line, and 4 employees just sitting at their window (with no customer). I would give zero stars if I could.

I had to pay the sales tax on an out of state vehicle purchase and I personally don’t carry that kind of cash on me. So they screw you by charging a 2.5% “transaction fee” when you use a credit or debit card. I am almost certain debit card transactions do not have the same fees as credit card transactions imposed on them by merchant services. I would take a place like this over entering a courthouse any day. One place to go for getting tags and such done. One building. Plus, you can put yourself in line off your phone. No complaints from me.

Closes at 4:30. Got there at 4:17 (i understand that's pushing it) but there was no one in line. The lady working there told me they stop doing tags at 4:15...two minutes past and they refused? Why do they make it such a huge inconvenience?
