I am giving this rating because my comment was deleted on the return of Strega(which is wonderful). Last year was disappointing due to the lack of Unlimiteds. The bored has lost site of the fact people go to Reno to watch THE FASTEST planes. People don't go to Monster Truck Rally's to watch the moto-cross. People don't go to concerts to watch the opening act. People don't go to races to see no competition. Unlimited class... What's happening here. Once a year (Ive been goin since 1998) we get together for this and it was a one man show with Voodoo.. Straga a no show and Rare Bear grounded!! and Dago has been gone since what 08, 09? The RARA needs to be on top of this. The highlight was the T6 race this year. This keeps going the way it is and I wont be returning next year.. It was rather disappointing. However the Blue Angles this year was pretty cool. Too much attention is put toward the Unlimited class. It is the smallest class and is most likely on its way out. Either get them to return or stop calling them "The Bad Boys of Air Racing."
Not what it use to be. One mustang in the gold unlimited? Not much of a race.
Absolutely love these races, nothing compares to the entertainment, air race sounds and the people that you meet that become part of your family! We've been going for 8 consecutive yeas and am looking forward to many, many more!
