Waste of effort. Missed my appointment time due to business constraints. He charge me 360$ for a missed appointment. Pure desperation! 3 days into it he threatened me with being overdue. Save your money, save your precious time. This guy is an absolute waste and a joke! This company has no concept of ethics or morales and is out to take you for everything you worked hard for.i wish I’d have never called him. We would highly recommend Aaron and Renewable Energy Outfitters. We would give more stars if possible. Aaron is highly knowledgeable and created an awesome off grid solar system for us a few years back. We recently had an issue with our MidNite Classic unit, Aaron worked directly with the company to get us a new unit, and installed it in a very timely manner. Thanks again Aaron for everything you’ve done for us.
Experienced poor communication with multiple email and calls ignored. The off-grid system’s inverter was undersized, the inverter was wired improperly, and ultimately the entire system suffered from poor engineering. Wanted all the money up front so had to pay in advance, even though job was not completed. So Caveat Emptor. I had a very poor experience w/ Renewable Energy Outfitters and do not recommend their services. Ultimately, the system commissioning and interconnection / grid connection process with Xcel was never completed by Aaron w/ REO. Furthermore, the equipment detailed in the final quote did not match what was actually installed. REO completed the physical installation of a residential 5.2kw energy system in July of 2024. Aaron did a great job installing our system in a challenging location. Very happy with the installation, attention to detail, and service. Highly recommended.
