Installation took one extra day because of some wiring issue, but I appreciated that they didn’t rush through it just to finish fast. The supervisor kept me updated by phone and the team stayed polite the entire time. Panels are working perfectly now and my meter barely moves during the daytime.
We were totally satisfied with our solar system designed and installed by Renewable Energy Design Group 3 years ago. Installation was a breeze. Again, they had a good crew and they knew what they were doing. Our system included an EV charging station. A small technical regret. Our system is on a detached building, and sub panel and we learned after installation that we were not able to use the Solar Edge usage/ generation monitoring feature and now pretty expensive to retrofit. Absolutely the best! We have looked into going solar for a long time now and researched many different companies in NC. Randi with Red Group Charlotte has been the absolute best to work with. She’s provided us with answers to all our various questions. She clearly explained everything to us (pros / cons of solar sizes, how the power programs work, how panels and backup batteries work, warranties and even odd questions about hail / weather, etc..) and has been incredibly patient as well as knowledgeable about the entire syste... read more
