I have been at Renegade Farm for 7 years now. I began taking lessons, progressed to a lease and 5 years ago bought two horses from the Lynn Bakos, the owner and trainer. At Renegade your horse gets to be a horse, with wonderful pastures to roam on all year, 7 days a week as much or a little as the owner wants. In the past I traveled a lot for business and was always comfortable knowing my horses were be watched over. They are checked on twice a day when they are brought in for feed and any injury or illness is addressed. Lyn... read more
I checked this place out once for field board. The barn is much to close to a super busy road which makes using the outdoor ring almost impossible if you are working with a young, green or spooky horse. They have a tiny indoor ring that is basically unusable for practical jumping training or flatwork. The turn out area is huge and seems to have adequate forage. Horses are turned out in groups, grained twice a day and thrown hay in winter. On really brutally cold nights, they are brought into the indoor for cover. There a very ... read more

Excellent care at a barn with knowledgeable people at a very reasonable price (almost half of some of the other barns I looked at!). Lynn and Nina are very knowledgeable, friendly horse people with years of experience. Stall or Pasture board. A knowledgeable horse person knows how important turnout is for their animals. Daily herd turnout in a huge fantastic (mostly level) pasture means my hot thoroughbred can run till his hearts content, and interact with his friends (my horse was all but unride-able at another facility bec... read more
I have been riding at Renegade Farm for four years and I have been boarding my horse there for a year-and-a-half. She was a lesson horse at Renegade before I bought her and had lived there for almost a decade. My experience is that the health and safety of the horses is the first priority at Renegade. My horse just turned 20 and earned a clean bill of health at her last vet check. There is always someone there to help when I have questions about her care, and I feel comfortable knowing that she is checked for problems twice ... read more
I board at Renegade Farm and have been for 3yrs. I think the horses are taken very good care of. The people who work there have a great love for horses and you cant find a better place to keep your horse. There have been a lot of improvements in the last few months and the owner is always around to ask questions or get help with your horse. You have a choice of indoor board or outdoor board with many run in sheds. The other boarders are a very friendly and I have made some good friends.

Wow, clearly the person that wrote a negative review on Renegade Farms has nothing better to do with there time. You are simply an ignorant self absorbed person that has no knowledge of what is good for horses anyway. I have been boarding at this INCREDIBLE facility for two years now and my horse has never been healthier or HAPPIER in his whole life. The owner is by far the most observant person I have known with animals as are the boarders that are there. We watch out for each other, work together and the animals are safe, ... read more
Our horse has been on pasture board at RF since 2006. She couldnt be happier and I am very satisfied with the services provided to her there. She is well cared for and has been injury free. The horses that are on pasture board are brought in 2x a day and are fed, supplemented and blanketed as a service. They are fed hay throughout the day. They have run in sheds for protection. How many barns are out there that have such beautiful pastures? The owner sacrifices her own horse who has the convenience of a stall to keep our hor... read more
