I was hoping to post a positive review I placed an order on October 2024 and posting a review as of February 2026 I still have not received my order with every new due date I reach out just to be informed that the delivery date has been pushed back by another 8 to 12 weeks website states order should arrive 25 weeks. after the order was placed currently and I am on a week 70 with another 8-12week.
A Renegade cover for my new pickup was a long researched and deliberate choice. It looked like a very, rugged, utilitarian and ultra secure unit, especially after the owner gave me a tour of the small facility and explained the construction. Scott also told me when I paid in full at the time of order that it would be 6 months before it would be ready. I was prepared for that length of time. Just a junk top in my opinion. As mentioned by others the lead time is extremely long, my ship date got moved 3 or 4 times as well. Mine always leaked since new, a little maybe acceptable but this one leaks more then much cheaper tri-fold covers. I was getting some support in the beginning but no longer. Just empty promises. Premium price for these covers you don't get matching service or support. It's been over a year on my truck and the coating is now starting to come off as well. If a ZERO star was an option, that’s what it would be. Now at a year since my order, after paying in full, and no cover on my truck. The only communication (other than asking for reviews) has come after me asking order status. I fully believe this is a scam, using client money to invest and profit while delivering ZERO product. I hesitated paying 100% with an anticipated 25 week delivery, but trusted the company. Now, at 52 weeks and extremely poor customer service, I’m more than skeptical.
Posting a one star now due to no communication with Renegade regarding missing part of my order. Namely Aero bars not shipped with cover. called and left at least 4 messages and an email as well as online chatbot. no response. Meant to update this awhile ago. Upgraded to 5 stars after Renegade made everything right. Sorry for the delay. Love the cover!
