My cat was experiencing symptoms that I recognized as pre diabetic and I took him to a Pet Chek facility that I have gone to for years and they overcharged me for bloodwork and then misdiagnosed him, scared me to death and said good luck. I knew I needed a 2nd opinion and Voorhees Vets had a cancelation and got me in that day. They ran a bunch of tests, gave him fluids, an antibiotic and anti nausea med and it was all less than the bloodwork from the earlier Pet Chek appointment. We had to make the difficult decision today to put down our child/dog. The veterinarian could not have been better, but the vet tech left a lot to be desired. Our baby was not properly held on the table/scale while the vet was doing her evaluation and our baby fell off the table. She did not hit the floor, but like us, she was traumatized. The tech told us it was okay because her head didn't hit the floor.
