She is the worst therapist ever. I had to file a small claims law suit against her and she settled out of court because she knew she was wrong. She betrayed my confidence and confronted me in a group about personal information that I did not want spoken about. She let other members confront me. She is a danger to anyone that chooses to work with her.
I first met Renee several years ago when we were members of the Early Career Committee of the Massachusetts Psychological Association. Renee possessed strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for helping others. I have continued to be impressed by Renee's ability to utilize creativity in her practice and writing. She has also inspired me to learn more about contextual cognitive behavioral interventions as applied in individual and group counseling.
I have had the privilege of referring some of my clients to Renee's groups and for individual DBT work. She is not only a gifted writer and illustrator, but, as a therapist she has made a lasting difference in the lives of both my adult and adolescent clients. I will continue to use her as a resource to teach these valuable skills and provide treatment that makes a real difference in the lives of many. Jayna Ellsworth, LICSW Lincoln, MA
