I would leave negative stars if I could. Dr Applebaum was very rude and even incorrectly filled out my background information and added things in that never even happened nor were said. She is a terrible listener and her bed side manner is very off-putting. I was also informed by Dr applebaum that I did not have to fill out all the questions to one of my tests. It sounds like some reviewers gave Dr applebaum a low rating because they disagreed with their test results, or her analysis of them. I went in with a fully open mind, letting the chips fall where they may, so to speak. I was worried about what I perceived to be memory loss. After a neuropsych eval which was proctored by one of her staff members (who was great to work with), Dr applebaum let me know that the test results did not reflect any issues with my memory. Dr. Applebaum is an outstanding clinician/doctor. She assessed a family member of mine and was spot on in her findings. She explained the results in a clear and understandable manner, and while she had to share some concerning results, she provided it to us with compassion and kindness. In addition, she provided various recommendations which were extremely useful and well thought out. I would highly recommend Dr. Applebaum to anyone who needs her services. What a great office and a great doctor. Everyone was friendly and I felt like Dr. Applebaum really heard me. I can’t say enough good things.
I don’t know where I’d be without Sue Bresky, OTRL. Sue is very understanding of my needs and helps me find solutions manage difficulties related to injury. She goes above and beyond my expectations and has made a huge difference in my recovery. Highly recommend…I couldn’t have asked to ever find a better occupational therapist to help with my cognitive rehabilitation and life skills.
