When I first was told how long the wait to see Dr. Applebaum was, I never expected how worthwhile it would be. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Applebaum. She was incredibly caring, compassionate, and took the time to listen to my concerns. Throughout the testing process I felt comfortable and supported. Thanks to her evaluation, I finally received a diagnosis that has provided me with much needed clarity. I am extremely grateful for her expertise and dedication to her patients. I highly reccommend Dr. Applebaum.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Renee years ago because my father was a patient of hers. I mean it’s been yearssss I’m thinking like 2013 I had to translate as my father didn’t speak English. And when I tell you I still think of her to this day!! I was googling a different dr today and she pooped up and I had to leave a review. The best Dr, the best lady I ever been around !! First allow me to disclose that I am not the patient, my parent was. This practice led by Renee Applebaum demonstrated a lack of professionalism and diligence. The testing process was excessive, conducted without breaks, and was followed by a superficial preliminary report delivered within 72 hours. There appeared to be no meaningful understanding of the patient’s history and no baseline established before testing began, both fundamental to any credible evaluation. I would leave negative stars if I could. Dr Applebaum was very rude and even incorrectly filled out my background information and added things in that never even happened nor were said. She is a terrible listener and her bed side manner is very off-putting. I was also informed by Dr applebaum that I did not have to fill out all the questions to one of my tests. It sounds like some reviewers gave Dr applebaum a low rating because they disagreed with their test results, or her analysis of them. I went in with a fully open mind, letting the chips fall where they may, so to speak. I was worried about what I perceived to be memory loss. After a neuropsych eval which was proctored by one of her staff members (who was great to work with), Dr applebaum let me know that the test results did not reflect any issues with my memory.
