I was sure I was going to give a five-star review. I wanted to. Most of the staff did a good job with some doing a very good job and I’m grateful for them. But my last day in the hospital changed everything. An EEG tech saw that I was experiencing trauma from the test and showed no caring. I felt dehumanized. I just needed some comfort and understanding. Maybe it's because I didn't agree with his ideology that he freely pushed. That type of coldness shouldn't happen in healthcare and reflects poorly on Blake. Healthcare w... read more

My dad was transferred to Bayonette Point Hospital from his local ED , HCA Oak Hill My dad sustained an extremely severe diffuse axonal injury with irreversible brain stem injury from blunt force trauma subsequent to a fall outside at his home. From the initial presentation in the ED , Trauma team and neurosurgery team no one called me, his listed POA and were giving information to local family that were there at the hospital. It took me basically demanding to speak to the nurse who was taking care of him in the ICU to see... read more

Hospitalist was very off cuff, more like an observer. I had serious back surgery on April 10, 2026. They got me up and moving with in hours after surgery. Pain control was dismal and they put me on opiate that I had reaction to in my chart for years. I was escorted out in less than 3 days and still in pain. Every one was very kind and knowledgeable. Audra was very professional as was my anesthesiologist and my surgeon. Hospitalist was laid back. They fitted me for compression socks just prior to surgery. Pain control was an i... read more

My care at HCA FL Brandon wound care was great. My complaint is the with billing department. I had multi visits over many months. All bills I received in mail paid, even paid on my account day of my surgery but somewhere along the line there were two visits from the earlier days in December 2025 I never received a statement from HCA nor the many visits after those dates when I went in no one ever said to me you have an outstanding balance. If they had I would have paid it right, then and there. No months later I get letters ... read more

Horrible hospital!!!  The Nurses job is to be compassionate, the staff was so mean, they are just there to work, the nurse staff kept getting an attitude every time I threw up, went on the floor, they immediately judged me to be a drug addict, the doctor staff was OK, i will never use this facility again!!!

St Davids south used to be great. I have a serious medical condition and went in for abdominal pain. Ive been in the ER many times and know the drill. They were so slammed they were discussing people's ailments and medical conditions in the packed waiting room. When they took me back to start my IV behind the desk, they had a patient and their whole family 5 of them right next to me and another patient arm's length away checking in, they were discussing how this person tried to commit suicide. they didn't even give that fami... read more

My partner went in for a debilitating bowel obstruction (labor-level pain and causing blackouts), and the staff acted terribly towards her. They loudly discussed her confidential information in public areas and, when administering an enema to her, the nurse sprayed her with the enema and threw the bottle onto her back afterwards. She could hear one nurse loudly commenting on it afterwards, clearly having pawned the task off. Staff also actively denied the results of a CT scan done at their own facility. When pressed on it, ... read more

There are no address on the many buildings, at the least they should be marked, building # A, B, C. I had to park, walk 10 yards to fing where i needed to go for my test, then 100 yards back to my car, then to the main part. Simple building ID's would solve the problem
