Amazing restaurant
My first time visiting and worth the drive. Greated warmly, comfortable seating options/rooms, really nice backlight onix bar, attentive service, fabulous food and solid entertainment provided by a wonderful duet who engaged the audience. Can't go wrong here!
To be honest, this was a disappointing experience. We have friends who rave about this place so we were hopeful. We were sorely disappointed. Started with fried calamari. Our impression was that it was likely battered & frozen from a local distributor. No effort in the batter and just serve it as is with a few green pepper rings tossed in. The pomodoro sauce tasted like it came right out of a can. Wife got the shrimp scampi for $40-ish. That is way overpriced for pasta with about a half-dozen shrimp. Layla was my server and she was amazing!! Great dinner service, she was very attentive and on top of it. I will be going back for the food, but I hope I have the same server too!
I had very high expectations, considering the neighborhood considering that they use tablecloth which is still a must for me in a fine dining establishment and atmosphere looked really nice. Now this is what you would say the off-season of Florida so the place was shockingly empty, There might’ve been about 6 to 8 tables occupied on a Saturday night. I ordered a zuppa de vongele (clams).
