To be honest, the hotel is OK. The rooms are clean and it's another awkwardly decorated midtier hotel that feels like it's primarily for business travelers. Let's start out with the positives. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable and appears to be newer and in good condition. The lobby and hallways are kept clean as well, the hotel has been kept up-to-date. They need to remodel. Fix the Sauna. Fix the showers in the men’s locker room. Fix so many things. The door doesn’t close all the way in the bathroom without slamming it. I injured my rib and explained I needed a better bed, if they had anything please let me know. They did not. This place needs to be remodeled and is almost at the end of their contract with Marriott in terms of remodeling. Very nice hotel. Clean, spacious rooms. Staff was extremely helpful! Ty and Robert in the restaurant did a great job.
Milli, who worked the front desk, was a breath of fresh air. He truly had a welcoming energy, was full of life, and represented the Renaissance Hotel extremely well. His friendliness made check-in a great experience. Chessia, a veteran in hospitality, brings so much to the Renaissance through her creative ideas, personable interactions with guests, and consistent professionalism. Together, they embody the kind of service that makes guests feel valued and eager to return.
