The new manager Michelle is terrible, she has an attitude all the time and talks to people with smart remarks instead of worrying about the problems in the building. The security is really bad, homeless people sleep in the staircases, and walk through the cars to see what doors are left unlocked. The pool is always dirty, and the apartments are not kept clean. So when the last management left, it was tough for the new management to update the files for each tenant. Unfortunately, since my file went back almost 9 years, starting at 1875 Galindo it was very difficult for them to update my rent and I was continually charged for having parking which I do not. The women who work here stole all of the belongings of a friend of mine, who lived there while she was moving out. She tried to file police reports, and they got a restraining order against her and tried to make it out like she was crazy. When I went to discuss it with them because my friend couldn’t she wasn’t allowed on the property all the women who work there were dressed and head to toe and my friends clothings and handbags everything. High volume music is something regular in this community. Safety is something missing in this apartment community. There is a door for apartment always open. Homeless people get in and chill. They will stole your deliveries. Your neighbors will leave leaking trash in front of their doors. Juicy and disgusting trash. My upstairs neighbors is always dragging, pushing or pulling something always. Clubhouse is something i don’t even want to mention, people use that place so horrible.
I would not recommend this apartment due to serious safety and security concerns. My locked $3,000 bike was stolen from the garage, and multiple times someone opened my car doors in the middle of the night and stole my belongings. The leasing office has done little to address these ongoing issues, which is very frustrating. I no longer feel safe or confident that residents’ property is being properly protected. Please consider these security problems before renting here.
