All customer service, excluding the front desk, was the worst I have had in many years - bar service, restaurant service, room amenities. I have experience in the hospitality industry, therefore, I know the importance of customer excellence.

The hotel is nice. I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years. They’ve experienced HVAC issues regularly. The housekeeping services are not the best. The decor is nice. The indoor pool is a plus (when it’s operable). The jacuzzi is almost always not operable. The room service is ridiculously expensive. Convenient to the waterside district of Norfolk.

The location was amazing. Hotel sits beside a marina in the river. My room was terrible. It was dirty, there was vomit on the curtains, some type of wig or weave hair behind the toilet and the air vents hadn't been cleaned in what seems like months. There were 3 elevators but only one was working. That type of thing is acceptable, but the rest are not. I tried reporting it to the manager but was given the run around by the front desk staff. I eventually sent emails to the hotel management and they never responded.
