This restaurant is amazing! Definitely the tastiest pasta I've ever tried! The food waa incredible, the venue was very unique, and Angelo was fabulous at taking care of us! Truly a memorable experience, abd we will be back again! Only a 10 minute drive from Salina!
You will drop some coin here. You will never regret it. The Renaissance Cafe is a hidden gem in the tiniest Kansas town. The food is always amazing. The wine selection is top notch. The service is impeccable. We come here every year when Handel’s Messiah is performed in Lindsborg. We’d probably come more often if it wasn’t a four-hour drive for us.
I went in expecting a pleasant small-town dinner with a quirky backstory. What I got instead was a former school that seems to have been adopted by a slightly eccentric historian with excellent taste in food and zero interest in doing anything the normal way. Walking in feels less like entering a restaurant and more like stumbling into a 1700s library that somehow wandered into Kansas and picked up a hint of Alice in Wonderland along the way.
