The medical staff was amazing—everyone in the back was kind and patient. Dr. Ballesteros was especially wonderful and sweet. However, the desk staff at the front were incredibly rude. They were so dismissive that I felt compelled to leave a review, which I rarely do. They seemed uninterested in anything I had to say and treated me like I was a nuisance. Based on the other reviews here, I’m clearly not the only one who’s had this experience, which is unfortunate.

When I was 4 years old, I had surgery for strabismus and ambliyopia, followed by a second surgery. They were very successful, but I eventually needed prisms in my glasses. In 2018, I was referred to Dr. Statacopoulos to correct the strabismus (63 years later). She conducted tests and learned - to her surprise - that I was still able to fuse images, which meant I was a candidate for surgery. The fact that they, or rather the doctor, keeps canceling appointments we’ve had months in advance is frustrating, not to mention unprofessional and annoying. I finally said enough is enough and decided to find a doctor who actually wants to see her young patients.

Got canceled on three times. Showed up 10 minutes late with my three children under 6 years of age and was told that they “told (me) they had told me only two people are allowed in the exam room.” When I repeated that they had not, I was told that I was now 15 minutes late and they would not see me. One star is generous. The front desk were the least accommodating ofany office I have worked with or visited.

Will not bring my son back here. Staff is horrible
