I was recently admitted at St. Luke's hospital in Orwigsburg for a pretty severe kidney infection for 4 days. During my stay I began insulin for type 2 diabetes and was given prescriptions to continue treatment once home. Insulin was 4x a day, finger prick 4x. I had 200 syringes, 2 different insulins, glucose meter, test strips, lancets and alcohol swabs from pharmacy! I did my best, but this was a lot to manage and a month later I went to see Dr. Mimms.
