We have had some issues with Remco once the pool cover was out of warranty. Although to be fair the cover worked well initially. They are more than happy to send people out for callbacks at $500 a visit. But they will try to do the minimum possible, including just resetting a code and then leaving... letting the same issue occur less than a month later. I had a REMCO pool guard installed for my ~9 x 5 metre pool with an electric winder and dealt mostly with Danny. I’m giving them 5 stars despite it being a long winded process and some setbacks we had along the way. The main issue we had initially was the sizing of the cover wasn’t correct on two occasions on attempting to install it and on one occasion I think there was a misunderstanding as to whether the cutouts for the pool ladder should be done on site or pre-manufactured. The staff have been great throughout the whole process, and Eric the installer was excellent on the day of install. My 'Swimroll' product is awesome and looks fantastic on our Plunge Pool, and now the cover is installed we have started running the heater so we can use the pool all year round. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 Stars are the things that have to happen after you sign the contract, but prior to installation. I really didn’t want to do this but I am very frustrated and disappointed. I will say that when the pool cover works, it is fantastic. Our journey with Remco has been a long one. We originally went with Remco because we wanted our children to be extra safe around the pool hence why we paid $30,000 for a Cover Star cover. The first pool cover ordered didn’t fit so we had to wait for a second to be measured properly and made. Super happy with Remco and there team. They Helped me out through the whole process and delivered a fantastic result. The swim jet i installed works awesome and it was easy to install. Very happy New Zealand customer .
