These guys are the best! We live in a rural area. We’ve only ever lost power for an extended period of time during Helene. The other times we have lost power it was quickly restored, often before the rest of my family woke up. That means they are on top of situations and working in the storms and in the dark while we’re are sleeping. The line manager for the Morganton area is HIGHLY disrespectful, rude, and wildly unprofessional. I was taunted by this person for not coming outside to speak to his crew, when I instead used my camera; me having just woke up did not feel the need to interface face-to-face with them in my pj's unshowered. I was not notified of any work happening on my property, that there was even an issue, or who they were with. Sad how they treat long time customers. Don't get sick or in a accident because they won't give two extra days to a disabled vet on oxygen in freezing weather....
Rutherford Electric connected our power from an old utility pole to our new house by running the wires underground and they removed two old utility poles. The crew did an amazing job and they cleaned up our property upon completion.
My son's electric comes through the neighbors trees. The limbs are hanging on literally hanging on the power line. We called them. They came and looked at it and said it was the phone companies responsibility?? Who has a phone these days? I thought they had crews for this??
