Great organization that helps so many.
I bill for my sons disability waiver through REM and have for probably 8 years now. I've met some great people there, and some I hope I never see again. REM has an extremely high turnover rate at the office. There is not one person in the office that was there when I started, and most positions have been through several people. They do have their advantages, like we always get paid on time. Other providers aren't as diligent about getting the families paid. REM stays on top of it. NOT a senior citizen center!! Manages programs for special needs community. Staff is friendly and helpful, but people change frequently as these folks do not get paid enough for what they do.
It truly is a God awful location to work for, don't waste your time here. Some of the employees are wonderful to work with but most are cut throat. Management is horrible not one person knows what they're doing. They show favoritism, and very disrespectful about it too. Medical fraud does get committed and they do nothing but cover it up.
