We called and order takeout. We got an order of calamari a dinner meal was spaghetti, and meatballs and a dinner meal of the chopped salad with chicken. After picking up our order, our entire car smelled so strongly of seafood. I’ve never had calamari that smelled like that So i called and spoke to the manager, and he assured us that the calamari was fresh and sometimes could have a strong smell, said it would be fine to eat and there had been no issues with it during their dinner tonight, so we should have no worries. I can’t say enough good things about Rella’s..the food, staff and Joe, the manager. We had our 60th high school reunion there and it went off without a hitch, even in the nor’easter. Joe helped us organize it and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you Joe and staff. Your attention to detail and taking care of 50 seniors were much appreciated.
