We have worked with Reliant Engineering on three occasions the past 2 years and are very happy with the experience. They designed headers to expand doorways through some load bearing walls in our house, a retrofit to an undersized beam, and some consulting on shoring up some bad structural work done by a previous owner.

Super friendly but unfortunately you need everything in writing before having your job done, timeline, cost, have it all put in a contract. It took much longer than expected to get the plans back and once we received the bill it was for almost THREE times the amount we were quoted. They did give us a discount but it was still much higher than we were originally told. If you have unlimited funds and no timeline you will be fine.

seems there is a pattern here... They took me on as a client, promised to do work by a certain date, then did not and did not get back to several emails inquiring about when i could expect to have the work done.. It is costly, as i had contractors aligned, but was dependent on having the engineering done. This is not professional. If you really need engineering done for your project, do NOT go here. I am probably now put off for the year. It is not acceptable.
