Reliant lied to me to say "yes" When I called to open an account, customer service said I could cancel the contract at any time, no penalty required with 60 month. But now, that's completely broken. They tricked me into agreeing to a 60-month contract and a price of $0.17 per kilowatt. I've been ripped off miserably. For nearly a year, I've called customer service every month, but they deny my words, claiming I said “yes”. Where is the honesty? Is this America? who can help me?
I have been a customer with Reliant Energy since 1999 for a medical procedure. Relocated back to Atlanta , Georgia in 2000. Relocated back to Houston , Texas in 2014 . I have been with Reliant blessed to have a great electrical plan , budget billing / free weekends . Reliant Energy
