Reliant Energy is probably the worst electricity company I've ever used. The site is ALWAYS down for maintenance so you call to pay over the phone and receive trash customer service. Wouldn't recommend.
This company lies to customers and are fraudulent in the average billing!!! Carlos 3 yrs supervisor and Andria 10 years are suppose to be supervisor. These cut you off interrupt constantly. Rude is COMPLIMENT to describe the work ethics. I HAVE THE CONTRACT SAVED AND THEY DO NOY HONOR IT. Joke on us. I do not recommend them and highly recommend to search else where for service carriers. I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THEIR SUPERVISORS AND THEY BOTH HUNGUP.
The worst customer service and taking advantage of people in time of need. I didnt think I could pay my bill so I did deferred payment plan and then payed in full the very next day and then a week later payed the next bill in full and yet I still have a balance... How is that possible? Because they say so and that's it. I have been a customer for 6 years! And last year they turned of my electric for a $50 past due balance after paying$150 in the middle of winter. I have 4 kids and they refused to turn it back on without char... read more
