I have been a long time user of Reliant Energy. But I am going to have to find another company...no matter how much I try to save on energy Reliant keeps going up futher and futher...bye Reliant

My Mother-In-Law recently passed away. As we sold her house and cancelled all the Utilities our beloved Reliant Energy charged $395 cancellation fee. Glad I switched my own home to Tesla Virtual Power Provider (VPP). Much better service and lower prices. Try to avoid Reliant Energy.

I would not recommend Reliant Energy to anyone. They are nothing but a scam. We already settled and paid off the money we owed through one creditor,( which is the online information services and everything was supposed to be taken care of. Now, out of nowhere, Reliant has sent the same account to a different creditor, trying to collect even more money for something that was already resolved. Been with company four months bill went from $90 $146 $168 never again will I deal with this company. That's it that's all. Barely even at home mind you.... Shut this company 👎

If i could give 0 stars i would. Was a reliant customer for 5 years, had my bill set to autopay and never missed a payment. Had credit card fraud hit me in back to back months which caused my card on file with reliant to decline as it was canceled. When i tried to set up a new credit card payment my account was flagged and i was only allowed to pay with a checking account. I was told i could pay with card in person at walmart which i tried and was unable to complete because reliant doesn't accept amex gift card payments eith... read more
