I wonder if it makes sense to keep this plant around when it costs taxpayers 1.2 Billion dollars to keep it running (if and when it’s even needed).

I was paying about $25 a month in lights using Reliant's Free Nights/Weekend plan in a small one bed with a price of about .8 cent a kw (whatever you call it). When I renewed my plan, they jumped it to .15 cents w/out informing me. It wasn't a huge deal because being a resourceful person, my bill did not go up. It went down when I move to another apt and transferred my services. I would use them again, but I didn't understand how you go from .8 to .15 in such a small amt of time.
