Having been quoted hundreds of pounds from Halfords for various ‘problems’ with our car and an MOT, I looked for a second opinion. Andrew, the owner, was able to have a look at the car when I dropped it off early. He disregarded any ‘faults’ identified by Halfords and checked the car himself. He identified genuine faults and gave an honest price for the repairs which came in several hundred pounds less than that quoted by Halfords. I have been going to this garage for more than 20 years. They are the most reliable, honest and nicest people you could wish for. I have always felt that they charge a fair and honest price for the work they carry out, taking the time to show exactly what work is needed or has been carried out.
