Welp. I seem to be the exception to the trans repair trend. I had a transmission swap done about 3500 miles ago and I recently learned that several bolts going through the bell housing and extension were simply not put in. Causing both to crack on my Allison 1000. If you can mess up an Allison 1000 you’re doing something wrong. The bolts did not back out due to vibration as the area was well oxidized and no fresh markings from bolts were present on the aluminum
