My RESMED CPAP machine malfunctioned. The problem (with the heating element) is a known issue that lots of owners have reported online. Of course I was told it would cost more to fix than to buy a new one (for $500). Insurance won't cover this. I've spoken with them a # of times. I was later told another option was to purchase a refurbished machine for $400. This is a scam. I just got off the phone with Lucas, from Reliable Respiratory in Norwell MA and he was absolutely, hands down the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful support person I've ever come across. Major kudos to whomever hired him! He's a keeper.

I just started my CPAP journey and it has been nothing but frustration! My credit card was charged more than I was told it was going to be (with no notification that they were taking out more money than originally told). My monthly payment is more than they said it would be. I asked to be paper-billed monthly but was put on auto-pay instead. Three people, three different phone calls, three different answers regarding costs, payment dates, and payment methods. Very frustrated with this company and not at all impressed.
They could LISTEN ! I repeatedly spoke to them about my mother being seen by her doctor regarding her sleep apnea . That I understood compliance was an issue due to her needing to have titration and repeated sleep studies . They called me repeatedly texted me and emailed multiple times a week ! Very disappointed in the lack of capable listeners . As one person told me these things were understandable and would extend her compliance period , instead I was harrasssed . everything was good until the bill. my insurance changed. I could have bought the CPAP for$200. now I'm getting billed all over again.$400+ . this company is ripping people off. I would advise everyone DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Refused to provide tech support two out of three times. First time asked me if my problem was an emergency with severe sarcasm, third time saying they do not provide late night tech support even with a phone line dedicated to just that and hung up both times. Refused to do a proper fitting after first fitting technician only came with one mask to try on, got them to do so only after pressure from the prescribing doctor.
This place is not reliable what-so-ever. Every time I order parts the ball gets dropped and I am days and even weeks without my CPAP machine. I get overbilled constantly and then straightening it all out becomes a terrible mess
