My RESMED CPAP machine malfunctioned. The problem (with the heating element) is a known issue that lots of owners have reported online. Of course I was told it would cost more to fix than to buy a new one (for $500). Insurance won't cover this. I've spoken with them a # of times. I was later told another option was to purchase a refurbished machine for $400. This is a scam. I wish I could give this company a minus 5 stars. They are beyond horrible. I do not use my machine because it's junk and this company is just interested in selling me my new mask and tubing. I am so furious and frustrated that I have stopped using it! I had the exact same expedience with broken machines and broken promises. The tech finally came out to swap it out with a new machine after I told them I would accept nothing less. The piece of crap they gave me was old and filling my nose up with water!
