'Reliable Motors Limited was established in 1940 by Lloyd McCabe and was located on St Andrew St. in Fergus where Tim Hortons is today. Lloyd's son, John McCabe took over the business in 1973. The dealership had grown considerably and purchased a larger building on 140 St Patrick St W. In 1992, John and son Greg became joint owners and formed Reliable Motors (1992) Ltd. Friendly and efficient service
I brought an expensive set of wheels to get new tires mounted and balanced. The dealer I normally used would not touch my wheels as they were worried about scratching them. I called reliable ford and they had the correct equipment to mount the tire without damaging the wheels. The service technicians also took extra time and care to make sure the wheels came out in perfect condition. Very pleased with the level of service that went into getting the job done.
I've been driving a '99 Corolla for 11 years, dreading the day I'd have to get rid of it, and I finally bought a (new to me) vehicle from Reliable! Tammy in sales and Tammy in the finance office both made the whole purchasing experience pressure-free and very comfortable!! I'll definitely be recommending Reliable Ford.
