'Reliable Motors Limited was established in 1940 by Lloyd McCabe and was located on St Andrew St. in Fergus where Tim Hortons is today. Lloyd's son, John McCabe took over the business in 1973. The dealership had grown considerably and purchased a larger building on 140 St Patrick St W. In 1992, John and son Greg became joint owners and formed Reliable Motors (1992) Ltd.
