I saw Richard many years ago for couples counseling and learned a lot from him. This year I was seeing Julie who had been wonderful to work with we then converted her to our couples counselor, she really helped to open me up a lot. Unfortunately I am in the process of divorce and due to finances needed to change to Kara who accepts my insurance. I was skeptical going in and had a lot of questions when I first attempted to speak with someone here. Turns out they were incredibly helpful and my first session (on Skype!) was amazing. I didn't think there would be much value in one session and I'm on my fourth and in the office now. The office manager Janet is caring too which makes all the difference. There's no judgement and at this point we can speak openly - which was a huge concern. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
My husband and I did the 2 day intensive back in September and it was great. We really liked the dynamic of having both male (Richard) and female (Julie) therapists. At the end we really wished we had 1 more day. Fast forward 5 months and we wished there was a follow with both again. Each therapist brings a unique perspective. I agree with Christopher and wished I had read his review earlier, they are only in it for the money! The worst business experience of my life. In mid 2020, during the pandemic, my partner and I scheduled an appointment to work on our relationship. To say $350 is exorbitant is an understand as we all know there are much more affordable options available. But I didn’t want money to be a guiding factor so we moved forward.
