Reining Forest Products was founded in the Village of Beach Lake during 1944 by William J. Reining, with the first sawmills located on the unofficial ( but locally known ) Mill Road. In 1996, a new sawmill was constructed on a 27 acre site along Route 652 approximately 1 mile east of "downtown" Beach Lake.
