Such a beautiful park! This was our first time here and I’m so glad I came! Admission is so reasonable $5 per person. There is so much to see and do- we wish we had at least a whole day to explore. The grounds are essentially spotless- so well maintained- and the vibes are family friendly and laid back. Love it so much! We talked to multiple park rangers and the last one on our way out was so friendly and helpful. He’s watching out for the public to keep everyone safe. Really appreciate this team! 10/10 recommend!
This is a great Travis County park with extensive hiking/running trails, shared equestrian parking & trails, dedicated mtn bike trails, river access, rock climbing, good bathrooms & outdoor showers, among other amenities. No overnight camping here. Lots of friendly park staff. I've been out here dozens of times, primarily to run on the trails. There is a great variety of trail conditions to run on, and I can choose shorter and easier or quite long and somewhat technical. These trails are separate from the mountain bike trail... read more
