Dr. Nelson is amazing and the staff there are wonderful.
I had a really bad experience with them. I tried to reschedule my appointment so I called them a day before and they charged me $250. I definitely don’t recommend it at all due to lack of professionalism. Be careful!!
I went here several months ago and waited until I found a different periodontist before writing this review. The staff was rude. He did not opt for a consult and tried to perform the procedure same day. I asked to wait, because they refused to give me an idea of what my insurance would cover. Sent me a bill for almost $800, never even did the procedure, attempted to bill my insurance anyway. Don't go here. Dr Nelson is no good. I was given improper treatment by scaling and planing before LANAP, and the "LANAP" he did was botched. He took gum tissue I hadn't consented to and it ruined my smile. Thats not how LANAP should be done. He treated my extreme dental anxiety as an inconvenience to him and blamed me for his poor work and poor patient management. And he wanted to charge me twice what the procedure should cost. ($6k here, $3k elsewhere) I wouldn't recommend him to anyone ever and I warn others to stay away.
Went here to get a second opinion and turned into a disaster. Worst doctor / dentist experience I’ve ever had. Left crying and In a lot of pain just for a exam... He was very rough with my inflamed gums and a bad attitude because I was crying and in a lot of pain while he checking out my gums. He mocked me because I did not want to get shots in my gums that day for numbing so he could finish his exam.
